Description

Hey people, Well as I mentioned I finished with exams yesterday and among the first things to do was to get out in the sun I've been cooped up away from during the revision period, and of course had my camera in tow =) They're setting up for the Curtis Cup at the moment in St Andrews and the hospitality tents are already done.. no grandstands or anything yet but I noticed that they'd removed the guard ropes from the famous Swilcan Bridge on the 18th which had been there during the winter months so had to get my shot - it's one I'd taken earlier in the year but was never happy with because of the ropes. Typical view, has to be done really, so many great moments in the history of golf have happened along this small stretch. On the left is the Royal and Ancient clubhouse, and on the right (the red building) is what used to be the student accommodation of Hamilton Hall, but which is now being redeveloped into a swanky timeshare residence, and I heard rumours a while back that several top PGA professionals have already bought suites there which I'm sure won't do anything to damage this small strip of land's status as being among the most expensive per square metre in all the country. Have a great Sunday =) Adam

Yes, most lovely. Your shot is indeed a classic one but it brings home the richness of the spot.
