Exploring the edge of Ullusion's Rune beach, enjoying the sunset's deep colors.
The water suddenly up heaves & splits, an encrusted thing rises and slowly gapes wide,
It's almost touching your booted foot as, standing transfixed by the thing's inner light, embedded in fleshy parts, close enough to touch, you see a Pearl,
Reaching to pluck, your motion's halted by an inner voice's "Do I dare?"
