Description

Even an assassin needs some rest and relaxation. Wanted to do something a little more fun (but keep the katana handy!). Model "River" by me. Setup in Poser, 16hr Render time in Vue (its all that darn water!), few hrs post work. Thanks to all for previous comments and guidance on my other images, its really been helpful and appreciated!! =) This one is for mauk and the kind words on my model.

Like the water warping and pov. It actually threw me for an instant, the I realised the flowers wer flaoting. I really wish poser had a reactive plane that functioned like water when touched or was penetrated by an object. It would save a lot of re-touch.

Really dig the water distortion effects, so freaking cool man. Nice comp and I love the pov, and the lighting is sweet as well. Smokin character and scene man, most excellent piece

I was blown away once I realized she was in water. That is a great effect. The character and composition are fabulous. I think that most real water is just a little bit dirty which makes it easier to tell that there is water there. Especially when you put organic matter in the pool such as flowers and assassins. :) Also, deliberately putting a good sword into water goes against my grain (I used to collect swords and keeping them in good shape is difficult enough without putting them into water and people). :) I was still blown away. I need a better renderer and a lot more talent.
