Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
After a week of frogs, I am ready for something different, lol. Hope you like spiders because I have decided to make them my subjects for this week.
Only one of them of them is bigger than 1/2" (12mm) and most are half that size.
Tonight's posting shows 2 views of an Orchard spider. They are about 1/4" (6mm) long and I think they are among the prettiest of all the spiders I see.

It's a beautiful spider and looks like some sort of ornate robot. The photo on the left is a little dull, but the one on the right is pure gold: colorful, sharply-focused and composed perfectly. Totally up to your normal standard of excellence.

They have a wonderful pattern and the head seems to look much like a polished pearl located just under the body. What a great shot!Excellent.

Spiders or bugs are not really my thing but your "more than impressive" macro's certainly show the beuty of these tiny creature. The markings and hint of yellow/green of this one in particular are very beautiful. viewing your close and detailed work helps me to see them in a different way. Thanks!

Superb work Lee, the metalic looking body of this one reminds me of boiled sweets from my childhood, the sweets would have been fifty times larger than this little critter though. Excellent clarity and detail, first class photography. Bravo!!!!!
