Description

Train leaving Ramsdown Station (they even gave fictitious names to the stations) my original plan was to do the whole series in sepia/B&W but I liked this one as it was taken.

I don't know why they stuck their heads out like that Alan, unless somebody had been on the curry last night maybe. Lol. Excellent capture, and I agree, it looks great in colour, I think it would look great in any colour. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Magnifique cadrage pour ce sujet sur rail, avec "cerise sur le gateau" : le conducteur de la locomotive

Wonderful capture! Color is perfectly appropriate - they had color film in the 1940s. Our local public television station has been running "The War In Color" recently. There was LOTS of color footage taken during WWII. You're on safe ground!

Doing this pic in sepia will be a good idea, but it works very well in this way, too! Great old guys playing railroad! And I´m not able to play with you: Its a shame!´LOL... I hope you enjoyed the day!

A wonderful capture of this steam-engined train Alan. Brings back memories of the smell, sound, and the blastering of the coal residue, Sig..
