i could fabricate and tell the story of how i was on my belly flat as a pancake like a great explorer taking this shot in my garden ,but then i would`nt have got up again to tell the tale :o)..i have an all singing all dancing tripod that becomes flat for taking shots like this that i got for my birthday and of course remote control .

Very interesting capture Mick. Nice looking grass, wish we had some here as its really dry coming into winter. Alas we will just have to wait.

This reminds me of a painting I did when I was 8, (which I may still have in the roof if the mice haven't eaten it!). It was called "Between the grass blades" and had Mrs Ladybird carrying a basket and hurrying to the shops passing all the ants going the other way. I can't imaging what your tripod looks like, Mick! Sounds amazing! Does the camera choose the f no or you?

fantastic capture my friend, excellent image

excellent capture my friend, its always interesting of how one on occasion positions himself for a shot.

Shame on you man letting your garden get into this state, if you don't hurry up and move you are going to have to cut it. ROFLMAO. I was bidding on a couple of Manfrotto's on eBay mick but they went a bit high for me, so I bought myself a Sebden from Germany. The trouble is it wont reverse the centre coloumn like yours, but it is that heavy and steady, it wouldn't blow over in a gale. Excellent capture, even if you did cheat a little.lol. Bravo!!!!! How is the house hunting by the way.

LOL, but I WAS flat on my tummy trying for a very similar foto last week!! Only difference? I have little tiny yellow flowers that come up when the grass is high; makes me almost sad to mow em down~~~you notice I said "almost"!! Great shot, even if you did cheat with the tripod. The neighbors do wonder a bit sometimes!!

Fabulous detailed capture, the tripod sounds like a brilliant bit of kit. I've seen Jeffs new tripod that he has mentioned and it is so heavy and sturdy I'm looking at ordering one for myself. My last one hasn't lasted very long lol.

hehehe, great one, you must've been on your belly for this. please don't remind me. love my garden, hate my lawn. damn the old english aristocrats who invented the concept of the lawn in the first place.
