Here's an updated picture, this one looks better i think. I don't know, compare the two...

I think this one is much better, but you would do well to lose the stock Bryce textures, or perhaps add to them or work with them, to remove the cartoon-like look to the scene... But the composition is great, maybe render it a bit bigger for us?!?!

I agree with the above, although "cartoon like" may be a little far... I'm interested as to how you achieved the natural gaseous look over the water - something I have difficulty with! A very convincing picture.
