Description

"And so it came to pass, one crystal clear Summer's dawn, that I (then a handsome young blade) stood on the Castle Ward, below the Chapel of Prynne.
Sa'aila, the Warrior Champion of the previous eve's tournament, an athletic and fearless warrior from the Northern lands, knelt and faced the West in the old manner, and swore her allegiance to our Quest, pledging her fealty to me, the Count, Keeper of The Castle, and benefactor of our strange island.
The Lady Liana watched Sa'aila jealously from the entrance of Prynne's Chapel.
Even then, in her younger days, the Princess suffered from fits of pique and had to be restrained in her quarters.
For I, Count Tyrannus, was not to be brooked in my quest to crush the armies of the Baron of The West, and I needed all the warriors I could muster, to have in hand in the days and weeks to come.
For even as I stood on the Castle Ward that day, the Baron of The West was already gathering his armies on the Long Beach of Grouveille."

NOTE: (Photos of The Castle/s are my own. For purists and those who are interested, I have used a picture of the Hermitage Chapel at Elizabeth Castle here in Jersey for this episode, and 'relocated' it to Gorey Castle, renaming it 'Prynnes' Chapel. It sits where Prynnes Tower now sits.)

Oh aren't these the fun pictures - lol... I say that, because I committed myself to my characters... they committed me to story telling... for the past couple days I've been putting most of my characters into one then two scenes... I have better visions of pictures I want to make, but have to do the ones that come first to get to the ones I really want to do in the story.... I said this picture is fun, because you and I both have this big mountain with some type of house on it and we want to show our characters in front of it... It can be challenging. If it were not for overlays, I wouldn't even attempt it - it just makes the old computer box run too slow for my patience. Great work here... We have bumped into each other a few times while gallery hopping, I like what I've seen and I read you have some site for artists so I'll have to check that out when time allows. YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!

This is a great looking picture! The characters are well posed and composed. The costumes are great and match the storyline you've spun to go with the picture. The background colors are bright, and not what you'd expect, and you're castle photo matches your poser render very well. My only suggestion is that the top of the castle has a bluish tint, and that seems to clash with your golden sky, but other than that, it's excellent work. ~ Tom
