By day, I write software. Not very exciting, except I get to see firsthand why software is so buggy. Most of the rest of my time is either spent on family or 3D modeling/animation. As far as the modeling goes, I do a lot of science fiction shoips/vehicles. I try to constantly improve my skills and techniques, so comments on how I can better do things is always appreciated.

Looking great so far! The detail around the cockpit section is very impressive. I'm gonna keep my eye on you :)

Why almost everyone paints the ships white? Painting a big ship its adding a tons of paint and white? Discretion please. Nice work wrong color.

You make it white in the modeling stage so you can clearly see what the mesh itself is shaped like. Adding textures and lighting later on makes it harder to see what's in the mesh and what's not.

WIP = Work in Progress for those who might not know. :P I think N'Varra's ship is looking great. The Brightsick will fly! WOHO! I really appreciate all your work on this. I am so excited about the finished product you wouldn't believe it.

That's awesome looking. At first I thought it was a picture of a physical model. What program are you using? That sort of looks like a modified version of the Ghtroc Freighter from the West End Games Star Wars RPG, but with a different engine mounting. Very cool. I can't wait to see what you do with the mats. I'm working on polishing up my ship textures as well, and posted a model testing the newest texture formula. Let me know what you think.

You have a real gift for this. Maybe you should try movie set design for sci-fi movies. I love your work. Thanks.
