Not only the roses have thorns !!!
Here is a greek cactus which flower is so fine, the fruit is also very sweet (when you can leave the thorns of course !!)

La rose et le cactus une association plaisante. Bravo pour cette macro qui met en valeur le fruit (comestible) du cactus qui étonnement fleurit après la fructification.

I had these in my yard back in Texas...prickly pear and the fruit is made into candy and all sorts of stuff. Excellent macro!
