Description

Wanted to create an imaginary late 1950s to mid-60s Travel poster. Was inspired by looking at a lot of vintage Nat. Geos. last week. There are 3 pieces of stock photo. The woman was a b&w shot from a disc I own. The sculpture from Big stock Photo and the bulk of the banana leaves from Rainjewel4 (Jessica Carroll) at deviant art (http://rainjewel4.deviantart.com/). The rest I shot on my property. I again used Ron’s watercolor, Ron’s flourish and Ron’s cracks brushes by deviney as well as other brushes. Mostly to give the distressed look. Also thanks to everyone from the 2D forum for the advice.

your right I didn’t even think about that. Several of the people I work with and really admire are Puerto Rican and I guess that’s how I picked the destination.

Need to to an info graphic about methane being converted into electricity tomorrow. er.. today. spend a lovely day at the landfill to get the info. landfills and worm days in Florida do not mix well.

Wonderful outcome. Your typography is exciting, the image enticing, and I can feel the music in the air. Great job with the poster, Tim.
