morning all :o)
seeing as though its chucking it down with rain and quite cold i thought i`d post something cheerful and warm :o)..this is the shrub weigela ready to burst into flower in my garden the other day .

Seeing as it's chucking down with rain and quite cold here too, this is a nice warming image Mick, full of rich red colour as the title says bursting to get out. The little pods look good enough to eat, I have most likely seen one of these plants Mick but I don't remember what they look like opened up, I hope they are just as colourful on the inside. Excellent capture mate. Bravo!!!!!

I can only imagine the bloom when it opens, fantastic color! Beautifully composed and excellent shot Mick! My camera is a Canon PowerShot A-560. Can't adjust the speed per say but there is a sports freeze frame that I will try and see if that helps next time. Thanks for your suggestion! Please show this when the blooms open, I have never seen one to my knowledge:-)
