Description

The title, in Scottish gaelic, roughly translates to "The Hidden Valley" and is evocative of many views that can be readily had through the great Glencoe in Western Scotland. This is yet another attempt at outright realism using digital trickery. Thanks for viewing and any suggestions you might care to make.

Having lived and worked in the NW highlands of Scotland I can vouch for the realism of the features and especially the foreground texturing - nicely done.

This is like a breath of fresh air...a beauty! IMHO is looks very real only more like a painting...to get photo realism I'd suggest more contrast and a bit of sharpness...of course I'm a contrast and saturation freak but, thats my two pence :)

Your focus and objective to reach realism here has been achieved. The surface work and lighting have accentuated the natural ambiance of this scene ...beautiful work Rob.

I think "realism" is a word that fits perfectly with most if not all of your "landscape" images Rob....this one is no exception!....Excellent work man!!
