Southern Cornwall near St. Just, where many fields are bordered by stone fences, rather than hedgerows. Thanks very kindly for your recent faves, views and comments. I appreciate it.

Oh, my but this is fabulous! the pov really lengthens the path and shoots the eyes straight ahead to the horizon where they are met with that richly blue sky and cottonball clouds.

You have some great examples of drystone walling here Maria, in itself a work of art, Flickr has a group for just this sort of shot. Last year I went on a trip out with Alan(artaddict2) and I came across a wishing tree where young children write wishes on a piece of card and tie it to the tree. One young lad, I think he was 9 or 10 years old wrote. I want to be a drystone waller when I grow up. It is an old craft and there is a skill in doing it, you can go on courses, one is run near to where I live. You have done Cornwall proud with this and your other images. Superb pov, composition and presentation. Bravo!!!!!

I saw a movie once where they was building a stone wall out of a pile of rocks it was like putting a puzzle together finding the rights rocks to fit in place. This is a wonderful look at just one field stonewalls.

Wonderful you have an extraordinary eye to find the essence of a place.. Also typical in parts of Ireland where the fields are full of stones, and in order to make them productive in some way, it was necessary to make use of the rocks. The POV and image is top notch

Another fine vista capture of lovely clouds above the Cornish rustic countryside. Strange, I had never heard of stone fences before....stone walls, but never fences. A perfect cover for warring factions.
