Description

Portrait-month in 2D forum. A trial to portrait my grandmother. I don't remember her so clearly, but when I look at her here, it is something about her eyes and hands in her lap, that moves my heart. Something that reminds about times long ago when life was hard.

A great deal of expression in this one Gun, it has a nice sense of nostalgia but you've combined it well with the feeling of times being hard.

She strikes me as "such a little thing," with tiny bones and stature...yet you have expanded the canvas well beyond her body, and that seems to be a suggestion that her influence upon the world was a lot larger than she might appear. Good work! :)

It is easy to see where your Grandmother resides by viewing your image. She is within you; within your heart, your soul, guiding your artistic talent :)
