Description

I was in Great Yarmoth last week n spent prob about 2 hrs at the beach one evening trying to catch a sunset but couldn't get the angle where I was at the time so had to get the best I could. I shot the original and then 3 exposures over and combined the 4 raw files in photomatix then exported into CS3 for color touch up. I hope you like and thanks for looking. It looks as if your attempts certainly didn't fail as the light you've captured here is so extraordinary, probably very similar to the actual atmo you had then on the spot. Excellent photo, Ritchie!

Your effort has produced a beautifully toned and vibrant seascape. I wish you had the sea level, it is so detrimental, any landscape/seascape with huge areas of water has to be level to stop an unnatural feeling to the viewer. It can work for dramatic effect when shooting watersports, but should be avoided in pictoral images. You have a real stunner let down by an easily corrected flaw. I hope you are not offended, your image building in photomatix is very skillful, and I am sorry not to see the image at its best.

wonderful warm hues here, and perfect lighting. Not sure for the leaning horizon, that unbalance the pic, in contradiction with the calmness of the scene, I think.
