Description

Peace, harmony and tranquility... these are the qualities that we seek most often. They sometimes appear to elude us and sometimes even appear to be unattainable... but in the end, this is only an appearance. If we seek to have peace, we must be peace. If we seek to have harmony, we must be harmony. If we seek to have tranquility, we must be tranquility. How can we seek and be at the same time? This is a most interesting question for us to ponder to be sure. We all have an idea about the qualities of each state. That is the starting point. Then we can take those ideas and visualize for ourselves that we are acting out those ideas. We can visualize ourselves moving easily and effortlessly through our day... our chores... our life. The mind does not know fact from fiction. If we practice our visualization exercises each day, soon the mind will accept these ideas as a fact... that we are peaceful... that we are harmonious... that we are tranquil. When the mind accepts a fact, it then goes about making it a reality and will cause us to take action to bring an idea into our life experience. So, the steps can then be: first we know that we are tranquil... then we feel that we are tranquil... then we act as if we are tranquil... and soon we are tranquil as a way of having our living moving and being in this state. It takes about 21 days to acquire a new habit and make it a part of ourselves. Now that we have gotten some ideas to think about, what new way of being will we try for? Good question to ponder, right? Our thought for the day is: 'A certain amount of opposition is a great help to a person. Kites rise against the wind, not with the wind.' (quote by John Neal) I wish you peace and light. I wish you peace so that you may know the feelings of joy... I wish you light so that you may know its radiant warmth in the still of night. But most of all... I wish you love so that you may know the Oneness of all there is. amota99517 © 2008 This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack. The seed script for this flame is 3D JuliaN City IIA script by Chromotron with some minor tweaks by me. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. This means a lot to me and makes my world a little brighter. May there be peace in your valley... a song in your soul... and a heavenly choir to sing you to sleep each night. Have a great day dear friend. Namaste.

Let It Be. All That Is is as It should Be. Re: John Neal quote: Opposition also gives each of us a unique identity, that's my interpretation of it. To be different and define ourselves with edges gives us all a unique perspective in the universe. Of course, we're all of the same stuff, not so different after all. Depends how we look at it. Within One, Many; from Many, One. Delightful fractal! Vast penetrating forces!

That which does not kill us makes us stronger - that which calms us gives us longer. Great image. It's like an art-abstract version of a Victorian lamp. Beautiful.

this reflection on the state of tranquility and harmony is very interesting. I like this use of the script (Beautiful Zoom) I notice that you often present us some pictures greatly zoomed in... would this be a way to deepen the things?
