Description
I was curious about how far I could push Poser in my never ending quest for realism. Not sure that I'm there yet but here is the latest effort. I titled it "Albany Night" because I used the HDRFX point light of that name in P7.
This is the V3 Mandy character showing off on the streets of Albany. Rendered in Poser 7.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

A couple of people expressed interest in the tutorials. Anyway here are a couple of links ... I thought these tutorials were pretty awesome IMHO. At least they provide some clues to using the capabilties of the program -- and it really has some. BTW the Python scripts and HDR Shop are free.

No need to push any further .. she's as "real" as we'll get. I like Mandy. I picked her up when I first bought Poser .. way back when. I can't imagine being able to bring more out of her than you have accomplished here. I'm really enjoying this portrait. Terry

Gene this is freaking, double damn good! Perfectly imperfect, I swear she has zits as well. I think the eyes look fine, the sclera has that creamy translucency and blends softly with the iris. Maybe a little work around the lacrimal and bottom eyelid (eyeliner seems to cover that small skin area next to the eye)? The specular highlights are very subtle. The natural expression and atmospheric lighting really adds to the realism. What could you add to this? Indirect lighting? Now this really is beautiful!
