Description

Young swans are known as cygnets, from the Latin word for swan, cygnus. But did you know that an adult male is a cob, from Middle English cobbe (leader of a group); and an adult female is a pen (origin unknown). just learned this myself so I thought I would share!! Thanks for taking a look
