Description

What inspired me to make this train was all the bleak news I keep hearing about the airline industry. Now straight to the features of the RailJet: 1. It's powered by electric motors for ultimate reliability and zero pollution. 2. It's suspended by 2 metal wheels for ultimate simplicity. 3. It cruises at 300 mph. 4. Separate baggage car follows the passenger car for protection of life in case baggage explodes. 5. It's earthquake proof - the main pillars can move a meter without damaging rail integrity. 6. Simple and economical modular design - the rail can be attached to pillars with ease. 7. The rail can span very rough terrain. 8. Special cable pillars can support a rail span of over 1000 meters. 9. Active suspension makes the ride smooth and steady. 10. Power can be fed by 3-phase high voltage, or by DC current through superconductors, or by onboard supercapacitor recharged during station stops. Bryce, Paint shop pro 9, and my own cloud photo.

Interesting concept, now that the maglev technology is gone forever - at least over here. Keeping the bombs in a seperate baggage wagon is a really cool idea, too.

Great image! And a great idea too. Once upon I time I heard talk of putting maglevs in the median between the interstate lanes, since the land was already acquired... maybe next administration...

Awesome concept. My former and now passed on Father in Law would highly approve. He worked for years on the magnetic railway project outside of Kingston Ontario and his team had it running non stop for at least 3 years when they brought a bunch of quite young Engineering grads into the project and they had it broken beyond recovery in 6 months...I think it broke Frank's heart...this would have made him smile.. ...

Cool work. I'd like to see more of these put into service in Los Angeles. Assuming our elected officials can ever get over their addiction to contributions from Exxon/Mobil.

Wow, this scene is really perfect, the sky works very good with the landscape, the rail jet is awsome too!

Great concept, well executed. I think it would have been interesting to put it over some more diversified terrain (who knows, a cliff or two), to show its full potential. Good job.

What a stupendous idea! Sounds like you have put a lot of thought into this. I admire your artistic talent as well with this creation! Totally fabulous all around! Great artist job and impressive imaginative ideas presented here! I would love to ride on one of these! I certainly would feel a whole lot safer than one of those inflated aluminum bubbles they call aircraft now and I am all for cutting down on pollution! Sign me up!
