Description

I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but my muse is cheating on me once again, and there just hasn't been any, ANY motivation. Today's my sweetie's birthday, so I'm cooking up - literally - a surprise for when he gets home. He loves my chicken tenders, so I'm making my spicy ones. Feeling a lot better, physically. Had to say goodbye to a friend of mine recently, he leaves to Afghanistan next month. Saw him yesterday, it was very emotional, seeing how much he's grown and missing him even when he was right beside me. It's strange. But I know he'll be okay. I'm glad he could make time for me, and I care about him very much. Aaaand...need a new job. Got fired, I think, for taking time off when I was sick. Oh well. *laughs* Love you all, hope everybody is well. Thanks for viewing, comments welcome as always.

Fired for being sick??? Your ex-boss SUCKS!!! There should be a law (like there is in Holland) forbidding to fire sick people!! Now hon you have a great evening with your sweetie! :) Beautiful 'Old Style' image you have made here!!!

Beautiful photo! Very nice monochrome look and point of view. Fired for being sick... Hmm, I know what that's like. Sorry it happened to you! Sorry you have been sick for that matter! Hope you get well soon!

Its difficult when you are sick to get the boss to put business aside and show concern for you. I've been in that spot. But, ya know? I discovered that it was really a good thing I was forced to move on because there was something much better out there waiting for me. I have no doubts that in the end you will find the same thing too. When I look at this shot, I think back to those days when tramps road the rails, and I nearly expect to see one with his burlap sack with kit and a blanket step out of the brush and wait by the track. Great shot.

Wonderful POV and perspective....very old-fashioned feeling. Excellent capture! I know about being fired, it's happened to me twice in the last six months! Still looking for that great opportunity just around the bend....

Love these shots. They remind me of my childhood when so much time was spent walking and exploring a bit further down the tracks behind our home. Excellent!

What kid hasn't walked the tracks and dreamed of new adventures. Great nostalgic shot. Hope you had a great evening (and tender) evening with your man. :o) You lost that job because the Universe has better plans for you. :o) CC
