Description

The Falls of Shin A salmon leap .. to me (a spoiled brat ;-)!) a fairly unremarkable waterfall though it must be fairly impressive when the atlantic salmon are leaping up it to spawn in Loch Shin. The remarkable thing about it is .. an hour and a half's drive north of Inverness .. in the depths of the Scottish highlands .. off a winding country road and an even more winding single track country road...there is a mini Harrods!! The visitor center to these falls is owned by Mohamed Al Fayed Thanks for LOoking Fairy Blessings Emma

Yes the big shock was the full size statue of him at the entrance to the shop ! Good catch of a tricky subject, especially because of the two locals who would not move from the best spot.
