Description
This is the second photo of the very deadly day we had on May 25th 2008 here in Iowa. What I find interesting in this picture is something that I didn't see at first. It wasn't until I took a closer look at the photo that I realized there was something else going on. After adjusting the photo with a few different filters and such I was able to bring out a very small landspout (tornado). So total tornado count for me that day was 3. However, as all these tornado's swept through north east Iowa that day, it only left devastation in its path. With a half mile EF5 tornado in Parkersburg to just over a mile wide EF2 around the Dunkerton (north east of Waterloo) area. This will be one day I will never forget and will also change the way I look at storms and the way I chase these monsterous storms.
With this photo, however I opted to leave out any post work, as I felt it was more important to show the actual storms.
Thank you for viewing.
