Description

took this the other night and the base was almost directly over downtown Dallas.I live about 8 miles from downtown.it was very scary looking to me thanks for viewing and any comments. I am taking antibiotics and slowly feeling better

I think the sunlit cloud bottom left looks more like a bomb went off, the dark cloud could well be the smoke from a huge fire. A very dramatic capture Richard, the only time I have ever seen anything like this was when 14 tankers of fuel went up on a train travelling through the summit tunnel on the main line from Manchester to Leeds. The fire was so hot, it melted the brick lining and some of the track. This is almost as spectacular as that. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

that IS scary looking. art like this is somewhat disturbing, in that it is beautiful to look at, but horrible to contemplate. like when a painter does a battle scene. evocative and beautiful it is for sure! if art is all "happy pictures" it would get quite boring, lol
