Hiding but too curious to really hide. The trees in the water are just the perfect backdrop for this bird-- they are so interesting all on their own!

I love this.... not just for the bird, but for the detail on the cypress trees. We took a boat tour of the swamp down around Houma and I have such fond memories of those days. Thanks for the memories you have recalled with your images lately. :)
