Description

My Iris bloomed late this spring..and I thought the way this one was unfolding to bloom was kind of neat so therefore the pic of it *grin* And good news...after a series of test, when I went to get my meds refilled my Dr told me no new signs of cancer anywhere...this made me so happy and I said,"Well no new signs of cancer no chemo huh?" and he replied I have to take the chemo for prevention of it coming back...oh well can tolerate that..but if the gas goes up to $5.00 a gallon or may have to work it around my monthly paycheck....$10 of gas goes no where anymore when I used to could almost fill up my car with it before it started going up...Saw one gas station that had a sign they were out of gas...wonder when that is going to start happening everywhere? And the price of food is skyrocketing also..due to the gas it cost to bring it in..am trying to stay on the Morphine only...I still hurt and can't sit long so please forgive me if I don't comment on your images everyday...and trying to stay away from the ER..am trying to deal with the pain better but at times it is awfully hard... I hope all of you are doing okay... Many thanks for your comments.. Only added border and name...... All post work done in PSP 9 Hope you all have a great week.... Hugs Susan~

What a lovely shot! Perfect color and I swear, so vivid I could almost smell it! Glad there are no new signs! Sorry that you have to continue with the Chemo. Such a horrible disease. You are in my thoughts, hon.

Yes its very depressing going to the gas station and to the grocery store. I guess we all are going to have to loose some weight weather we want to or not. Can't aford all the junk food anymore. hahahaha Hugs Priss

First, lovely capture above.. so beautiful. Kudos Susan. Second.. Very glad to hear your doctor report looks so positive.. hope it still continues to improve. Lastly, tell me about gas! It just went up another 60 cents this week alone. Last year an empty to full tank fillup was barely $26.. today.. my fillup cost me $62.. ouch!! I commute 60 miles every day.. my last monthly gas charge was $460.. for one month.. The only upside is that traffic has dropped tremedously.. I fly to work almost...lol. Anyway.. happy for you Susan and best wishes with hugs from Dave :^)

The iris looks as if it is crowded or something, maybe it is a slow starter or something and it will open properly later. Well spotted. I'm glad you are getting on top of the cancer and I hope that you beat it. Your gas sounds to be cheap to me as we are paying just over $2 a litre here in New Zealand so we are cutting down on our trips out and about too. It seems to be a world wide thing.

OMG this is great news Susan!! NO NEW CANCER!! Awesome!!!!! And you capture of this stunning iris shows your joy! I understand about the gas. Here in Southern California many stations are at 4.79 to 4.99 and many are over the $5 mark. This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Susan congratulations on your latest health news, I will pray you recover more each day and that the pain does go away. I understand only too well how difficult it is to cope with pain every day my dear friend. I love this photo, and can see a head a body and two wings crossed over the body there, just like an angel, can you see it? hugs Jane xx

That is a pretty color. Sorry you are in pain, still. Gas is becoming a big problem in a lot of areas. It costs $10 just to start up the car now. I feel like we are putting liquid gold into our tanks. I keep threatening to get a dog sled and dog team - only the sled would have to be on wheels. lol! ;o)

Lovely....Did it open to a normally shaped flower? This looks as if it were feeling a little shy about opening up fully!
