Description
I decided to take scenic ride home from work today...Now I realize this is not the best quality photo...but was taken from truck window....I wanted to post for two reasons....one being that was the true color of the ocean!!! The color was incredible that is what first caught my eye and made me turn around for shot through sea grapes...and bonus there was this flower....second reason I'm posting this....can anyone name that mystery flower???...I sure wished I could have explored this area a little more for better shot but alas it was private property..so middle of road with zoom was best I could do.

It looks a bit like a very compact yucca flower, or some kind of aloe--very tropical and pretty looking!

My guess is yucca too, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. And wow! Turquoise ocean! Nice capture!

Ok, I'm going out on a limb here, it looks kinda like a hyacinth!! The color of the water is just amazing, where is this?

You are so right the ocean colour is amazing..the flower well I have seen one very much like this one..only it was a lot taller..I was going to up-load it this week..took the photo in the gardens of the Big 4 Caravan Park in Cooktown, North Queensland..as to the name I'm still trying to find out myself as I want one in my garden..I'll let you know when I find out...Lol...K
