Description
20080602: Still evaluating a rented Canon 200mm f/2.8 L lens along with a 1.4x Canon Teleconverter. The focus speed & accuracy of this lens is so far superior to my Sigma, I'm having a hard time putting off a purchase (before which I really need to evaluate more lenses). Also, the colour saturation just seems better with this lens, but then I've been a bit smarter with my exposure settings recently, so that helps too. Anyway, the osprey are in swull fing with raising their families all over the Annapolis area, and today seemed to be the day to provide more seaweed. Don't ask me. I saw two males do this within moments of each other at separate nests, and another too far away for me to capture was most likely exhibiting the behavior as well. What's up with that?

I certainly like the sharpness of this image. Birds of prey have to be captured raiser sharp to impact the viewer. This certain fits that profile
