Description

Hello ! This Photo is the last in the series of Lilac´s. I hope you have enjoyed it. Look at the top of the bushes where you can see the warm evening sunlight, all the shots were taken in. Zoom is an advantage. Thanks for having a look and for your kind comments to yesterdays post. Have a lovely day. Pheeew it was a hot day yesterday and I think it will be the same today. My humming tree is now "snowing". Nothing lasts forever. The Thrust is singing outside my window and garden work is waiting. See you later :)

Greetings Helle, We also have a Lilac bush in our backyard but in all the years not a single flower and apart from its beauty and fragrance, the other reason for having purchased the plant in the first place is that butterflies love to visit it. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful week. egmont

I love lilacs. The smell is so intoxicating and gentle. I don't think I can grow them here. It gets so very hot and we get so little rain. But I remember them in the yard when I was growing up. This is an exciting shot! The light is must marvelous and the sight of such a large group of different colors is stellar!

oh helle, the sharpness of your image makes these articulate, each blossom is speaking; and it brings out the wonderful play of white blossoms against the background turquoise blossoms. And yes I can see the evening sun because it turns the uppermost blossoms a shimmering purple. Another flower cornucopia from your wonderful eye
