A nicely detailed scene. I think the render is over exposed but that may have been the effect you were after. This is minor but there doesn't seem to be any refraction applied to the transparent material on the staircase part.

I would move the door under the stairs to the kitchen-side and place a picture to the wall. The door just doesn't fit for me to the pure style of the rest. The window on the left remembers me from its shape and size to a toilet-window? ;) I understand the dark center of the image but I think it would give a nice touch if there would fall some light down from the next level? Anyway.. The realism is very impressive, modelling, lighting and texturing :) Greetings
