This didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it, but the computer didn't like it and it took several days to get it this far...

It would be interesting to see what exactly you did intend this to turn out like. As it is the cat looks like it's looking at dinner!! All in all it's a pretty cool pic., and if you hadn't mentioned anything I doubt we would even be remotely aware that something was amiss. Thank you for sharing regardless.

Yeah, coaxing a computer to cooperate with one's vision can certainly be an exasperating experience, alright. Glad you kept at it. It is still a great render as is. Yet I know how disappointing it is to have a certain vision and have the 'puter refuse to cooperate.

Well you may not like quite how it turned out, but I agree with everyone else, it's awesome! I love how the little fairy's "aura" is a reflection almost of her, and the way the cat is looking at her is just too cool! Love the background as well, the "view" outside the window is excellent. The witch, or wizardess turned out perfect as well. What's not to like????
