Well I've been drawing since I could pick up a pencil, growin' up in Da Bronx with all the Graffiti influence in the '70's when it was really big and all over the place. . . . I really miss the daze of seein' a WHOLE car painted from top to bottom go by on the platform . . . there were great artists back then. . . . . . . . . . I never really had any formal training, I went to the School of Visual Arts in NYC for a brief time as well as Parsons. . . . but most of the stuff I learned, i picked up on the street and just by DOING. . . . . . . . . .I learned the MORE i did it the better I got . . simple formula! Of course my Graffiti got me into trouble on more than one occasion. . . but i grew outta that and stumbled onto a job where I worked for a Licensed apparel company where I did tee shirt designs for whatever the hot property was at the time such as Spider-man, Batman, The Simpsons, etc.. . . . . . . . . . . I've always tried to keep in mind that as an artist it's always good to be able to ADAPT to different styles, because when you specialize in only one thing it becomes harder to navigate through the professional art world. . . . so I've done greeting cards, tattoos, animation and more and it's really helped me in all the mediums i use. . . . . . . . . . .. . ANYways I still work in the Licensed apparel biz (It's been 22 years, jeez!) but I'm lookin' to one day get some stuff in a gallery and not hafta work for anyone EVER again!!! Oh yeah . . .by the way go check my website out if ya wanna see MORE of the stuff I do!!! www.wiseapple.biz "There is NO better than adversity. Every defeat. Every heartbreak. Every loss, contains it's own seed. It's own lesson on how to improve your performance next time." -Malcolm X

I love this sort of art where you allow so much of the paper to show through. Awesome expression on the big guy.

Oh man the eyes Have it!!! Out-standing as usual man I love it!! You made it simple yet perfectly styled that it just Works!!! I have to say it because it reminds me of a scene from a preview from a crazy video called Bat-Thumb from the creator of Thumb-War. The preview is called Frankin-Thumb Ha he names his monster Pepper Ha and the Ha creature has that look on his face like PEPPER! THEN snicker Ha frowns then beats the crap out of poor Egor Ha sniff Aaaaha you just have to see and have a sick sense of humor to appreciate it sniff Oh boy Ha!!!

Thanx for all the great comments! I love gettin' weird expressions or funny stuff goin' on in my pieces as well as little details to pick up. I always remember back in the day watchin' the old Hulk show on TV and when Bill Bixby would get pissed his eyes would be all glowin' and stuff, so I wanted to get that look in his eyes. And the expression I kinda wanted to be like he just finished smashin' a whole town or something and then he turns and notices a cop or soldier pointin' a gun at him or somethin'. Kinda like an attack dog that's just been let off the leash and comes out into a hallway or something and they just kinda have that stare before they go berserk and attack ya!
