I think this is better than the other as the tower is better viewed here, and it becomes a strong focal point of the photo. In the sepia version, the tower gets lost quite a bit among the grains and similar tones. IMHO, the white outer frame is far stronger than these pics need, because the pics are naturally and beautifuly dark, and that thick and strongly bright frame distracts the eye...at least my eye... :)

yea, nice photo, although, if you took the contrast and color all the way down to zero, it would probably be better.
