Description

Dedicated to Mapps (Mike).it is his birthday today These are 2 North American B-25B's that was on a mission during WWII and disappeared without a trace over the Pacific.both pilots were from Texas and they, after flying for what seemed like an eternity found their selfs over what looked like west Texas.one plane's engines quit working and his friend was flying along side keeping him company.luckily they were at a high altitude and spotted the runways at Abilene.but were they really home, or just another mirage I created the prop blur from post work the background is from Richardphotos/Mapps newest background package and should be in the market by the middle of next week the B25 are by BeyondVR in the freebies at Renderosity http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?vendor_name=BeyondVR

Super use of the aerial photos!!! It is my guess that since BeyondVR made these B25's one would expect the USS Hornet to show up next!!!

They have that look of cardboard tabbed cutouts you rollup from illustrations and assemble. A classic style made more important by the tie to the ground.
