I live in a small village in upstate New York, with my husband, Howard, nine cats and one dog. I was born in 1957 and have been addicted to making pictures since childhood. Thanks for your comments. The water was done in Bryce. I used symmetrical lattices for the splash and a terrain for the ripples.

First I rendered the entire scene with the girl solid. Then I did a second rendering with the girl liquid. Then the third rendering was an 'object mask ' rendering with just the liquid girl and the water splashes selected. Then in Photopaint I copied the liquid girl to the clipboard and and pasted her onto the solid girl. Then I used the opacity tool to make the liquid girl fade out, gradually revealing the solid girl.
