Description

This image came out of some quick 3d concepts made in Vue Infinite..The ecosystem makes working with big cityscapes very quick & easy buildings & ships modeled in 3dsmax,rendered in Vue6 with heavy post in Photoshop...according to Vue the polycount is in the billions :o thanks for viewing! Cheers Stefan

Super job! Just wonderful. Sorry Scott2753, Vue renders each of those polys, they are only 'billboards' in the OpenGL preview. I've seen scenes rendered in the trillions of polys with Vue. Stefan, I really like the idea this shot is rendered 'inside'. Very cool!

Billions? With a "B"? YIKES! Very cool image, though. It's got a very oppressive feel to it. The layers of detail are amazing.

Instead of 'awesome' and all that stuff...What are those floaty things tied with cables? Is the scene of an underground city with a chasm above to the sky? You definitely inspired my curiosity! XD

There are obvious comparisons with Independence Day, but this looks so much more impressive, kinda like where they visited before coming to earth, the lighting and shaders are uber cool. Awesome.
