Description
This dedication is for my friend Pam or better known as (densa) who is such a dear lady and wonderful friend to me. Pam is a spectacular Poser artist who put together some of the most creative works I've ever seen. After a bit of her Magic adding her painting skills you'd swear many of her images could actually be paintings. Pam has been so kind and supportive of me that I wanted to do something for her. While reading through Pam's stories I was really amazed at her vivid memories and touched by the gentle nature of them and am glad to share them with my friends.
Pams Parade (For densa): When Pam was a little girl her and her best friend Linda were both poor and were looking for a way to make some money. Pam had the idea for a kiddie carnival and came up with a super way to let eveyone in the neighborhood know about it. Her and Linda would have a parade and let her sister Deb and Linda's brother Danny help. Getting some old clothes they dressed up Deb and Danny as King and Queen. Pam made them crowns out of paper and foil and she got her Dad's old winter hat and put it on Linda so she could be the Ring Master. Finally Pam dug out her old batton out of the garage so she could be the Majorette and lead their parade. They loaded up the King and Queen into the red wagon and began their march through the neighborhood. I thought this was one of the most adorable stories I've ever heard and loved how creative Pam was as a little girl. Hope it gave some smiles,
Dave
P.S. Will the owner of the puppy please remove him from the parade route as he is very disrupting. ;)

Wonderful visualization of this cute story, Dave. I really like it. Made me smile. The proud Majorette in front of it all. :) Great picture of a sweet and funny story. It is a very nice tribute and dedication to Densa(Pam). I admire your love and caring for other people, Dave. A very rare quality in 2008.

Poser bows to you for filling it with yet more wonderful humanity. The story is beautiful for anyone who did something on their own, as a child, to make some money, get some attention, bring their lives to others. But of course it is your attention to detail that makes it a beautiful visual. You have the flow of Pam's dress, it flows just as it should as she marches down the lawn, moving yet very still. The hands (all) are filled with action, anticipation & hope. Her friend pulling the cart is almost doing a dance step; it's very joyous. Your shoes & cuffs (and variations) around the ankle, all are done with great care. The children on the wagon are wonderfully diverse, one waving, the other distracted by the dog (the kind of counterpoint we find in life, caught as if in a photograph). And the color scheme of the 2 is wonderfully contrasting and yet complement each other. The dog is caught perfectly in motion as well. And the rest is bathed in a deep green that 'caresses' the whole. It's beautiful Dave—by now no surprise to anyone who knows your work; and once again you've done great service to a person's memory and love; and done it with much love yourself. I will check out Densa—as I have all of your dedicatees. A recommendation from you is gold.

Lol @ the puppy who is probably after that kitty! Another great dedi and another that brings back memories. This time of my children who decided to do a magic show and play for me on Mother's Day. Tho I am sure Pam's turned out much better than theirs:-) The magic show consisted of a lot of very laughable moments because they knew no magic tricks, but they tried so of course I held the laughter back and ooo'ed and awww'ed in the right places. The play was very short because the props they used were from the field. They had gone out early that morning and picked tons of weeds to give me as flowers during the play...Unknown to them I was severely allergic and I sneezed and cried and had a horrid time breathing, so there I sat with swollen eyes and very red nose, gasping for air till I got my allergy meds and disposed of the 'flowers'...It was a most memorable mothers day, lol! What about this story that triggered the memory was the marching thru the field in all their 'costumes' and that were then covered with brambles. Very sweet dedi Dave! Great composition!

Love the P.S.! This is such a fun and joyful image! I like the poses of Pam and Linda, who look like they are performing a energetic march across the lawn. Pam looks determined and Linda very ready to do her part. Poor Deb! While Danny is enjoying his role as king, Deb is becoming painfully aware that kittens generally don't like strange puppies. Her expression is priceless. Having been on the receiving end of sharp little claws I know why she is looking down at the puppy in no little alarm! She'd better hold on tight, or the parade will turn into a search for kitty. Wonderful scene and great dedi!

Beautiful composition and image! A very realistic story that speaks volumes about the fantasy of children and what capacity they have to organize what goes on their minds.
