Description

These red winged blackbirds were driving this heron a bit crazy, he must have been to close to their nest. After taking many shots, he finally flew away and I really liked this one with a good view of all three birds... I hope you like it too...

What a terrifice shot this is! I love red winged blackbirds and you really got this at the perfect time to show off the red. And the heron is great too in his take-off mode.

Red winged blackbirds are very protective. I've been attacked more than once on a golf course. Great job to get all three in the shot, and especially showing the colors so well.
