Description
This was a chance happening. I know in some warmer parts of the world lizards are everywhere.
In the U.K. 99% of the population have never seen a wild reptile. I had gone to a special nature reserve, known for some rare wild flowers and plants that only grow on heathland.
I didn't find any but felt it was all worthwhile when I got this shot. He was quite small about
10cm (4 inches) from nose to tail.
