Description

I caught this big fellow coming in for a landing on a blossom. It amazes me that something so large, with wings so small, still manages to fly quite well. While I was snapping the photos of the blossoms & bees I was hearing all this buzzing going on around my head. I thought it was black flies or something. It was only after I stopped shooting that I realized I was so engrossed in taking photos, I didn't see that all the buzzing was coming from a small swarm of bees hovering around my head. Yikes! I am glad you are still with us to tell the tale!!! lol... I'm slightly allergic to their stings, so probably not a great idea to get myself trapped in a swarm of them!!! Great action shot Tony!!! :)
