Description

Meralden : Daughter of Eowamir, King of the Blue Mountain elves and Caladriendra, Silver Lake princess. She is a Noldo elf and a direct descendant of the legendary Queen Galadrielle. At birth, the shimmery whiteness of her skin made a strong impression on most everyone. The wizards and sorcerers of the kingdom recognized at that mark, the noble legacy of her distant ancestor. For the first 150 years of her young life, she was a reclusive and solitary adolescent. She was often seen sitting at the foot of a secular oak amidst the forest of Lost Souls', where she claimed that she met the spirits of her ancestors and talked to them for hours on. At the age of 220 years, she demonstrated exemplary courage and resolve when the King's castle came under attack from the Marshes' trolls. This event happened the day after her birthday and definitely marked her transition to adulthood. The troll's attack had begun a short time before dusk and a large number of elves died in dire circumstances, as a result. Meralden had been kept away from the battle until noon time, when the cry of an elve tortured by the blood thirsty beasts resounded in the castle. The witnesses of the scene recall the princess straightening up suddenly, her eyes gleaming with silver thunderbolts. The Nuckbur sword kept as a prize by her Father and taken from the smoking carcass of a former Troll King litterally flew off the wall and transformed into a beam of light in her hand. Meralden then rushed to the courtyard and used it to cut open the skull of seven trolls in mere minutes. Her fury inspired such fear into the minds of the assailants that they immediately retreated in panic. From that day on, Meralden gained the utmost respect of the entire Blue Mountain elves' kingdom. In spite of her heroic achievements, however, Meralden does not have the soul of a warrior. She is more of a dreamer, but doesn't neglect the duties imposed upon her by her noble rank, out of respect for her family and her ancestors. Meralden is now 225 years old. The trade of dragon tamers runs strong in her family and her secret dream is to be selected by a dragon's egg one day and to see "her own" dragon hatch, so that she can finally become a dragon tamer herself.
