Description
This is the Irish Meadhbh (pronounced MAYV-meaning "intoxicating") with her companion, a crow. In Irish Mythology there are many spellings and characters of this name. My Meadhbh and her crow are in a Celtic Hall preparing to perform a little sorcery.
The Celtic Hall background scene is the 1st major scene I've done in Poser. I also ventured back into the Material Room to lighten Nym's skin texture (Meadhbh is Irish after all :D). I also used Cast Shadows for the 1st time when rendering her. Gotta get the hang of that. The background and character were rendered separately and put together in Photoshop. The sky was made in Vue 6 Esprit.
All the jewels and dangles were added in Photoshop. I also did a tiny bit of color correction on parts of her skin. I'm still trying to get the hang of lighting in Poser and it always looks so different in Photoshop.
Sorry for some of the fuzziness and color bleeds. The original was done at 300 ppi and it didn't optimize as well as I would have liked :(. To bad the max file size for the gallery isn't larger, I'm picky about good resolution :).

You put a huge, and I mean really HUGE, amount of effort into creating this piece. The render details speak to much attention paid to details of lighting. To do a cut and paste render is a skill not usually acquired for some time. But clearly you have prior skills in CS. My only note is that she seems to be floating. Her left leg is clearly not in contact with her shadow. Since you did a seperate figure render this is easily fixed in CS. I love the work you have done on this character, she is gorgeous, with delicate skin and fine detail work.
