Description

This plant covers the Hoh Rain forest floor. It was quite beautiful and magical. I wondered if there might not be a Leprechaun around the next tree. There are so many wonderful and different plants, as well as moss within the rain forest. Thanks for taking time from your weekend to stop by. Hope it's a good one. It's raining here..Take care:0)bonita Description: Low-growing perennial, spreading by rhizomes, often carpeting the forest floor; shamrock leaves. Leaves: "Shamrock" leaves with three leaflets, rounded or shallowly lobed; borne on the end of slender, reddish-green stalk, leaf stalk often hairy. Flowers: (April-September) Small, white to pink, five petals, often with reddish veins. Fruit: Small oblong capsule.

And would the jagged-leaved plant with it be poison oak? I see it has 3 leaves and that usually mean poison something. :-) Lovely shot.
