Description

Belinda Victoria I was approached by the authoress, Daniela Bigott , of the fantasy-tale "Belinda Victoria", and requested to do an image of the main character of her series which will appear on her web site, and hopefully the cover of her next book. Daniala lives in Novara, Italy. In the beginning we had some difficulty with our language barrier, however, her command of English is commendable. Over the month of May, the visible form of Belinda came to life. The scene is from the 1st chapter of her 2nd Book. Belinda goes out the villa by night with her two friends Lollo the cat and Barabba, the Molosso dog. It's very cold, she walks through her village to arrive to the Wood of The Young Oaks. She's afraid because she knows that she will die. The Background is an image of the old villa of Novara with permission of its Mayor. Below is an English translation from the 1st Book, and I can only think that if it flows this well in English, how wonderful it must be in Italian: The return of the storks The storks had not returned to Ibaz for many years. By now, in everyone's heart, even the remotest hope had gone and the country, always thinly populated, aged bitterly. But one April Sunday, after a week of driving rain, a ray of sun slowly lit up the country and, under the rainbow that painted the sky softly passed through clouds like a feeble teeming of insects. Just moments had passed and, while the radio played love songs, two voices, excited and distinct, one of a man, the other of a woman, lifted from the Wood of the Forty-Six Oaks. 'The storks are coming back!'...... More information regarding the authoress, and the books can be obtained here: Belinda Victoria Thanks for viewing, and comments are always welcomed :)!

Buon giorno Dennis.

I'm the authoress of the book "Belinda Victoria". I'm here to thank Mr. Reed, great artist and fantastic man. This image has something misterious, you can see or notice that Belinda Victoria's and animals expression is very anxious. Belinda will die but I think that she will rise from her dead. In a few days this image will be put into my web site www.belindavictoria.com where Artemisia, the fairy, threw herself wholeheartedly into English learning to answer your questions. It would be very important for me translating my first book into English but I know nobody who has a through knowledge of both languages, Italian and English. I take advantage of this wonderful web site to thank all the people that wrote their comments about Dennis Reed. I wish all the best to everyone and I apologize for my bad English. DANIELA BIGOTTA'
