Orange Rush
Some flowers for you all, poppies, I believe, though I've not seen this particular variety until today. My daughter spotted them among the weeds in the acreage behind our house. The brilliant orange caught her eye as they were being whipped by the turbulent winds today. The land is vacant and has been for some years now. The beautiful barns were torn down a few years ago, for the aged barn wood would be my guess. Many times I've regretted not getting photos of them while they still existed. They were perfect for captures in the evening when the sun caught their splendid textures and colors. Just one of those 'if only' moments.
But I digress .. here are those wonderful flowers, saved from the Idaho winds, brought indoors and captured.
