Description
I was in a local pizzeria waiting for my take-out order when a person named John came in to get some dinner. I saw his tattoo and asked him if I could take a snapshot.
We talked about our losses on that day on 9/11/2001. He lost 2 cousins who were firemen. They had reached the 85th floor of one of the towers.
I lost a cousin (by marriage) and friend named Frank Feely, a vice-president at Marsh McClennan. He was on the 89 floor of tower #2.
I'd like to think that, had the towers withstood the fire a lot longer, that his two cousins would have rescued Frank.
We shook hands as brothers.

It's sad and brings up all the hurts, to see a day like that etched and burned into so many people's lives. Glad you had the idea to take a photo!

Being an ex Jersey City resident I know that it was a horrible day. My family too lost people they knew. I totally agree with AuntitTK that it must have been a healing moment. God Bless.... Chachi

I am sorry too for the sad loss of life following the stupidity and misguided beliefs of others. The tatoo is a wonderful constant reminder of the poor souls who lost their lives.
