Description

A C-121 Lockheed Constellation at the Dulles Udvar-Hazy annex. They were filming a movie at the time [transformers 2] and photography was restricted so I couldn't shoot the P-61 that had arrived.

The studies of "hot engines" up to 330F found a destination in this one. Your picture is just as important as any movie to me.

Are you sure this is a C121? There's no oil on the engines. :) Nice shot for details.

The electronic Connie served America well. Excellent POV. Duules NASM is a great museum, but way too dark. The P-61 is in a dark corner over by the Mig-21 and F-4 Phantom display.
