Description

When you're a kid, jumping is one of the closest things to flying, especially if it's down a hill or a dune. In that very brief moment, nothing else exists except the pure, innocent thrill of the moment. I did it many times. I'm not a kid anymore but now I did it once more... :-) Ground vegetation is from Linda Daireaux. That and the trees are available in C3D. Thanks for watching!

If we could express our imaginations as children in our 3D art, we would be elevated to the title of master in a flash, we get too tied up in our own existance to be truly creative. Wonderful memories, we just didn't see the dangers.

This really a wonderful render. I truly love this scene so full of joy and life. I wish more people would do quality work like this without so much nudity or sexuality.

This one just POPS off the screen! Appealing to the primal brains desires are always a home-run. The unfettered joy and raw desire to fly is overwhelming. Wow. This one is all any artist might want have. Good job.

Brings back a few memories...prefer the sandy dunes of Michigan City in northern Indiana, myself. The landing is almost surreal in its own way!

It's the joy that jumps right out of the screen - impossible not to smile with pleasure. His pose is so perfect!

Who says you can only do this as a kid...we may not get as high now,and the landing may hurt more than we remember, but I think we should do these crazy kid things more often..throw aside our inhibitions and just enjoy the sheer fun of it!!!Excellent pose and expression on the boy's face...love the POV and textures! Now,where did I put those knee and elbow pads??

i remember leaps like this one very well. and the incredibly realistic light and vegetation do just as much to evoke their memory as the boy. great hair! the character and his pose are wonderful, but it's the sunlit grass that really brings me back.
