BIO
Some facts about me: I'm born in 1980, married, I have two wonderful children, my son Erik (2005) an my daugher Lara (2006), I live in Germany and currently my job is "just" being father (not as easy as it sounds ;-) My skills in 3D art just developed sporadicly, so for some months I haven't spent a minute with them over the past years, but it's my main hobby beside astronomy and my family of course...
I am using Bryce as a wonderful creativity tool since 1997.

Sweet render, has all the earmarks of a backyard astronomers dream. Cool looking equipment and a fabulous nite sky. Here in the city I never see a scene like this. Nice work!!

nice, which i could get the stars on my render looking like that mine just look like blobs under bryce :(

Nice one, indeed. Good compositing of the sky with your Bryce render. I've not had a decent telescope in ages. I guess that's why I spend my time making starscapes myself, these days... Very beautifully done.

Wonderful composition and integration of the stellar sky photo.

Yes, the spleandor of the southern summer sky! Personally, being a winter person, my preference is for the Orion area, but certainly your choice of stellar backdrop is a spectacular choice!! Wonderful image!!

Hi, nice scene! But, please use a Newton next time :-D

Really a great render, especially like the background! It´s not as colorful and unreal like on other pictures, the milky way looks like, we can see it in reality. Great modeling of the telescope! Please don´t follow Jannis´advice, a newtonian or dobsonian would just destroy the scene ;-)

Reminds me of my early childhood sitting out and watching the stars and planets through an inexpensive telescope...excellent image!
