morning all :o) after a cold start yesterday we ended up with a glorious day with temps in the low 70`s and so decided to go for a walk in the country .we ended up at castle eden walkway although now its called wynyard woodland .its about 5 miles from where we live so not far before your in the countryside . this dead tree was obviously fascinating june as you can see ,she stood for ages just looking at it . thanks for looking and take care mick

Its a beautiful capture Mick, I totally love trees like that! This sort of reminds me of Disney's Fantasia, the tree to me is very musical, still magnificent even without the 'dressing' of the leaves. Guess you got some of that sun I shipped over huh??? Lol!!!

Dead... but very much alive the way in which you've captured this tree and seized such a beautiful essence of the entire atmosphere! The little person looks so small compared to the trees grandeur! :) A fantastic image!

I really love this photograph -- this tree seems so alone and sad until the woman comes by and gives it attention -- then the tree remembers when it had new growth, and feels happy again.
